A case has now been registered against the first look poster which showed Rishabh Shetty as Hanuman and was released last October. In the poster of ‘Jai Hanuman’, Hanuman is shown as having a human face and Rishabh Shetty released the first look poster. But High Court Advocate Mamidi Tirumala Rao registered a case on this.
‘Hanuman, a monkey incarnate. To give him a human face is an insult to our mythology. Insulting Hanuman.. National award winner Rishabh Shetty’s face was kept to highlight him. He may have a good fit body but showing Hanuman with a human face is an unforgivable crime.. I have registered a criminal case against Mythri Movie Makers producers Ravi Shankar, Naveen Yerneni, director Prashant Verma and actor Rishabh Shetty..
Due to such posters and movies, the future generations may think that Hanuman is the same. Also the avatars of Lord Vinayaka and Varaha are changed and shown as humans. Tirumala Rao commented that this attack on Hinduism cannot be tolerated.
Mythri movie makers have come forward to spend Rs.200 crores for the movie ‘Jai Hanuman’ after the great success of ‘Hanuman’ which was made with Rs.30 crores. But there is talk on social media that the director Prashant Varma is taking up to Rs.20 crores as remuneration. It is reported that this is also the reason why Balayya’s son Mokshagna’s first film with Prashant Varma got stopped.
